Table Notes | Setting the Table No. 12
Celebrating three years of Trudie and a very easy late summer dinner
Three Years of Trudie
This month marks three years of Trudie. When I started this business, I had no idea how much I would end up learning along the way. That part of the journey has honestly been one of my favorite surprises.
To celebrate, we are having our annual Anniversary Sale. The sale begins Tuesday, but Substack subscribers get access starting now! Also, if you spend $75 or more, you get a free wine bag with code SUBSTACK.
Thank you for being here for three years, or for however long you’ve been at the table with me. More soon.
Setting the Table — Easy Summer Dinner
This menu was supposed to go out a few weeks ago as a poolside lunch, but it is actually great as an easy dinner. My family needs an appetizer and this local butcher has the best smoked salmon dip, but, thankfully, it is not convenient or I would buy it way too often, so instead I am trying to make one myself. These turkey sandwiches are a favorite in my house and are made on repeat.
The Table
This table is simple. Another set of cute Pavilion Paper plates mix in with chocolate brown bistro flatware and marigold enamelware from Trudie. I am obsessed with this enamelware color and am going to be using it on repeat.
The Menu
Potato chips
Fruit salad
Ice cream sandwiches
The Outfit
A simple knit dress or this early fall sweater and dress combo (in a week or so when this heat wave finally breaks!). And don’t forget to snag one of our Trudie ball caps - this is definitely going to be my go to all fall!
